Terms of Reference for Project Manager
Overview of the Position
The Project Manager will oversee and coordinate project activities, ensuring alignment with objectives and timelines.
Overview of the Consultancy Assignment
- Working hours: Full-time (minimum 40 hours per week)
- Duration: 17 months (annual contract, renewable based on performance assessment)
- Starting date: 15 May 2025
- Salary/benefits: Negotiable within the project's salary framework
- Duty station: Addis Ababa, with frequent travel to Regional States
Qualifications
Applicants must demonstrate fulfillment of the following criteria:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., peace and conflict studies, gender studies, political science, or equivalent profession).
- At least eight (8) years of relevant work experience with a focus on:
- Multi-track dialogue processes
- Conflict transformation and gender sensitivity
- Experience with donor support, capacity-building, or process design is a plus.
- Strong and diverse networking with Ethiopian stakeholders (national and regional), including high-level contacts.
- Excellent knowledge of the Ethiopian context and dynamics.
- Strong organizational, management, and communication skills.
- Excellent verbal and written language skills in Amharic and English.
