Overview of the Position

Overview of the Consultancy Assignment

• Working hours: Full-time (minimum 40hr per week).
• Duration: 17 months (annual contract, renewable based on performance assessment).
• Starting date: 15 May 2025.
• Salary/benefits: Negotiable within salary framework of the project.
• Duty station: Addis Ababa, with frequent travel to Regional States.

Qualifications

Applicants shall demonstrate that they fulfil the following criteria:

• Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as peace and conflict studies, gender studies, political science, or similar/equivalent profession.
• At least twelve (12) years of relevant work experience with a focus on:
  • Multi-track dialogue processes.
  • Conflict transformation and gender sensitivity.
• Experience with donors' support capacity-building or process design is a plus.
• Strong and diverse networking with Ethiopian stakeholders (national and regional) as well as experience in high-level contacts and interactions.
• Excellent knowledge of the Ethiopian context and dynamics.
• Strong organizational, management, and communication skills.
• Excellent verbal and written language skills in Amharic and English.
