The Role

As the Global Partnership Coordinator, you will lead efforts to strengthen and optimize Civil Society partnerships at local, national, regional, and international levels in French- and English-speaking countries. Your role is pivotal in shaping and implementing Welthungerhilfe’s partnership strategy, ensuring alignment with our localization goals and global priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and update Welthungerhilfe's global partnership strategy in coordination with key stakeholders.
  • Assess, coordinate, and manage strategic, cross-regional, and global partnerships.
  • Define methodology and indicators to evaluate partnership impact and efficiency.
  • Track partner performance across Country Offices, ensuring transparency and compliance.
  • Facilitate the development of standardized tools/frameworks for partnerships.
  • Provide strategic guidance to Country Offices on partnerships.
  • Oversee capacity-strengthening initiatives (training, workshops, e-learning).
  • Facilitate global and cross-regional knowledge-sharing platforms.
  • Represent Welthungerhilfe in global forums to promote partnership strategies.
  • Advocate for Welthungerhilfe's partnership priorities through marketing and storytelling.

Your Profile

  • University or College degree in a relevant field.
  • Fluency in French and English (spoken and written).
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the humanitarian/development sector with Civil Society partners.
  • Strong stakeholder management and process steering skills.
  • Excellent communication skills across hierarchies and diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with international discourse on partnerships.
  • Experience in humanitarian and development project management.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Data-driven decision-making mindset.
  • Readiness to receive necessary vaccinations for project countries.
