The Opportunity

As Women’s Empowerment Manager (Maternity Cover), you will drive Trócaire’s work in supporting women’s and girls’ protection, voice, and leadership—a core pillar of our organisational strategy. You will:

• Define Trócaire’s strategy and vision in this area.
• Lead a passionate team of global technical advisors supporting work in 15 countries.
• Collaborate with the wider Programmes Team to promote learning, results, and programme quality.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

• Demonstrated leadership and management experience.
• Experience in women’s and girls’ empowerment programming, rooted in survivor-centred, feminist, and participatory principles.
• International experience, particularly in fragile or conflict-affected areas.
• A passion for gender equality and transformational change.
• Experience working with local organisations and women-centred groups.
