Afro-Ethiopia Integrated Development (AEID) is a Non-Political, Non-Religious, National Non-Governmental Organization established in December 2003. AEID aspires to create healthy, peace-loving, and productive citizens in Ethiopia and other countries, relieving them from disasters.
AEID is currently seeking qualified candidates for the WASH Officer position for the project entitled: Integrated Multi-Sectorial Cholera (WASH & Health), Emergency Response for Amhara Region (Bahirdar Zuria and Bahirdar Town), Ethiopia.
BSc in Hydraulic Engineering, Water Resource Management, Public Health, or related fields
Minimum 3 years of NGO experience
The WASH Officer will:
Manage the water supply, environmental sanitation, and hygiene promotion (WASH) components of the projects.
Ensure safe access to water, sanitation, and hygiene promotion in the community.
Plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate WASH activities, conducting needs assessments, and collaborating with stakeholders.
Perform other duties as assigned by the project coordinator.

Afro Ethiopia Integrated Development (AEID) is a non-political, non-religious and non-governmental organization (NGO) established to engaging in supplying safe drinking water to alleviate sanitation problems and work on integrated developmental projects to reduce poverty in Ethiopia.
We intervene where there is severe shortage of clean drinking water, low environmental protection, multi layered social problem and etc.
AEID was established in December 2003 and registered legally with the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) and the Federal Disaster & Preparedness Agency (DPA) .We had renewed our license and re-registered from the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopian Charities & Societies Agency valid until October 28, 2012. Again , we have renewed our registration license from the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopian Charities & Societies Agency issued on December 26,2012 to be renewed every three years as Ethiopian Residents Charity in accordance with Charities & Societies Proclamation No.621/2009 bearing the number 0215.
